South Bay Surgeons Group is seeking a Full-Time Colorectal Surgeon as part of a larger general and subspecialty group.

Responsibilities:

High volume of colorectal cases (benign and malignant), including colonoscopy.
General surgery (Appys, Choles, SBO, Hernias, particularly on-call).
No trauma.
Da Vinci Xi available at each hospital.
Specialist Partners available to take over/assist with subspecialty consults (e.g., Breast, Paraesophageal/complex hernias).
Another Colorectal surgeon and MDs as operative assists (setup for success).
State-of-the-art hospital and medical specialties (excellent GI, IR, and ID).
Active hospitalist programs and separate ICU teams to assist with medical management.

Schedule:

5 days/non-call week.
350 surgeries/year.
70% elective and 30% inpatient consultation.
All ER call is from home - no in-house, trauma, or UCI.
Shared evenly among all partners.
1 week of ER call/5 weeks.
1 weekend of ER call/month.
Covering 2 local hospitals in the South Bay.

Shareholdership available after 2 years.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive total compensation and benefits package to our physicians. The total pay range shown takes into account various factors considered in making compensation decisions, including knowledge/skills, relevant experience and training, education/certifications/licensure, and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.

Pay Range: $325,664 - 538,329 Total Cash Compensation.

Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Colorectal Surgery.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
