Your Role
The Productivity Engineering team is responsible for all engineering aspects of client devices. The Systems Engineer will report to the Technical Sr. Manager. In this role you will manage our windows platform from OS configuration down to application management. The ideal candidate should have experience in partnering with business stakeholders to understand and address their technical needs. Additionally, they should be well-versed in integrating cloud solutions to enhance our IT infrastructure.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Operate as subject matter expert, and thought leader in Directory, Identity, and supporting technologies
- Lead operational, strategic activities, and change management of all impact and risk levels
- Engage in Incident Response, Audit, and Disaster Recovery practices.
- Initiate interactions and represents directory services within the organization to Enterprise Architecture, Design Engineering, and line of business units
- Define, publishes, and maintains Collaboration lifecycle, and roadmap documentation
- Lead proof-of-concept and prototyping efforts in both an infrastructure design and engineering capacity - collects, analyzes, and documents results; produces summaries and recommendation.
- Perform unit testing of packages, application configurations, images and configuration performance using manual and automated testing tools
- Lead improvements based on technology, best practices, or changing requirements
- Serve as 3rd and nth level support for all client related issues in keeping with the organization's incident and problem management escalation procedures
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a college degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient knowledge of core Collaboration systems such as SharePoint, and relevant systems
- Expert knowledge with technologies relating to the management and distribution of content, and related collaboration technologies
- Demonstrates deep knowledge of cloud environments and services related to collaboration and messaging capabilities such O365, SharePoint Online, and other relevant solutions
- Deep understanding and knowledge of network technologies in TCP/IP, firewalls, load-balancers, proxy, and protocols such as HTTP/S, WebDAV, and DNS
- Proficient knowledge managing workstations with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Microsoft System Center Manager
- Scripting and programming experience in languages such as PowerShell, VBScript, or .NET (VB, C#) with a focus on automation
- Working experience with workstation patch management and compliance reporting of security patching
- Knowledge of ring-based rollout methodologies for large enterprise deployments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: $ 118800.00 to $ 178200.00 for California.
