The Impact You'll Make in this Role
The person hired for the position of Integrated Business Planning Global Demand Lead will be responsible for developing capabilities (People, Process, Data, and Technology), leading change, and ensuring effective & accelerated implementation of the Global IBP Demand Review process for their respective business.
This role will be managing the deployment, and capability and maturity improvement which will require an experienced professional who is able to facilitate and drive results in a fast paced and demanding growth environment, leveraging his/her strong interpersonal and leadership skills. This role will be challenged to build and implement a world class Global Integrated Business Planning Demand Review process to drive value realization by improving demand plan performance accuracy in support of their respective business. Included is the development of an unconstrained, consensus forecast/demand plan over the 4-36 months horizon.
As a(n) Integrated Business Planning Global Demand Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Liaises with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to develop and ensure accuracy of the Global unconstrained demand plan.
- Manages multi-faceted connection with strategy, macroeconomic indicators, portfolio management, marketing, end customer sales (POS), key accounts and demand planning.
- Ensures that demand functions are identifying opportunities for business improvement & Growth as well as prepares/ facilitates monthly IBP Global Demand Review for their respective business.
- Deploys and maintains process to gather, quantify, & manage portfolio plans and demand assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
- Financialization of demand plans and gap analysis to business strategy, operating plan and quarterly targets
- Ensure scenarios are developed and presented to highlight gap closing actions and impacts of key drivers, instability, opportunities, and risks.
- Support IBP Integrated Reconciliation for their respective business, representing demand and discussing impacts of risks, issues and opportunities
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university and a minimum of seven (7) combined years of Business, Finance, Marketing and/or Supply chain experience.
OR
- High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of eleven (11) combined years of Business, Finance, Marketing and/or Supply Chain experience.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Previous experience leading Sales & Operations Planning and/or Integrated Business Planning processes
- Master's degree in business, Finance, or Supply Chain
- Experience leading projects to improve business processes and their integration with strategic or operational business planning
- Self-motivated and has worked in international, cross-cultural working environments at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated knowledge of forecasting technology or ERP systems is preferred, SAP experience a plus
- Influence others and overcome barriers to change (including behavioral/cultural and organizational issues)
- Experience with data analytical tools for data discovery & modeling, visualization and Analysis
- Experience utilizing process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or other)
Work location:
- Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but requires travel to our Maplewood, MN location at least 2 days per week)

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $183,301 - $224,034, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
