Job Details:
- Candidates will work in a very collegial atmosphere working alongside great support staff and seasoned providers. Join us and you will also find supportive, collaborative colleagues; strong patient/provider relationships; comprehensive resources and advanced technologies.
- Day shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, night shift home call: 4:00 PM - 7:00 AM, weekend 24-hour home call
- Night float available for one week at a time if interested
- Call ratio: approximately once every 4 weeks for full-time staff
- Average surgical cases per day: 10-12
- Average pain management cases: 0
- Supervision of CRNAs required, care team model, solo on call
- Trauma Level III
- 4 full-time Anesthesiologists in practice
- No responsibility for preparing the anesthesia cart
- Patient age demographic: 1 year and older
- Required procedures: General surgical cases (adult & pediatric), minor nerve blocks, IV regional anesthesia, plexus anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, obstetrical cases
- Pain management procedures: acute cases
- Required insertions: central line, arterial line
- Responsible for evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
- Documentation System/EMR: Epic
Requirements:- Board Certified in Anesthesiology - REQUIRED
- ME License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- DEA (or able to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Able to perform adult and pediatric general surgical cases, minor nerve blocks, IV regional anesthesia, plexus anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, obstetrical cases, central line, arterial line, and evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues.
