The opportunity
This position will be part of a sales team focused on the psychiatry space responsible for the performance of an injectable therapy for schizophrenia. The Institutional (Hospital) Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving and delivering results in a compliant and ethical manner, focusing on institutional selling efforts.
How you’ll spend your day
The following areas of responsibility are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position:
- Develop effective business plans to meet and exceed territory-level sales goals.
- Demonstrate a collaborative sales approach and coordinate efforts between sales leadership and other teams.
- Adhere to all compliance guidelines and ensure the sales team adheres to these policies.
- Review data reports to identify trends and make plans to address concerns.
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations and education to customers.
- Work closely with specialty pharmacy facilities to ensure product availability.
- Maintain a call average with healthcare providers, focusing on top target customers.
Your experience and qualifications
Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience required.
- Experience in the hospital setting with a detailed understanding of relevant processes required.
- Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Ability to interact with customers in live and virtual environments.
Travel Requirements
Extensive travel throughout the assigned region, which may include air travel and weekend or overnight travel.
