Responsibilities:
This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of Labcorp’s legal team. Performs a variety of multi-disciplinary administrative functions related to Workers’ Compensation, automobile and general liability claims and litigation. Communicates with Risk Management and Legal department personnel, Labcorp supervisors, managers, HR staff, Fleet department, insurance carriers, third-party administrators and brokers as required. Supports liability loss prevention administrative functions as needed. Will also participate in required legal proceedings such as mediations and hearings, as well as audits of third-party vendors.
Requirements:
License/Certification/Education: High School Diploma w/3+ years associated experience required - Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Insurance claims and legal experience highly preferred.
Answer telephones, maintain logs/records, organizational skills, proficiency with numbers, research information, time management, train employees, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications.
Drive results, compile data-driven results and clearly communicate to departments.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Maintain project timeframes, objectives, and communications for assigned projects.
Strong knowledge and experience with MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent interpersonal, written and spoken communication skills, and organizational skills.

Annual Salary: $50,000 to $60,000
