Job Summary The Organizational Development and Education Consultant is a professional educator, instructional designer and facilitator responsible for designing, developing, implementing and evaluating interventions, with an emphasis on leadership development and organizational effectiveness. In collaboration with the Director, creates strategies for developing leadership effectiveness, engagement and increasing the overall health of the Sarasota Memorial Health Care System culture.
This is a great opportunity for an external candidate early in their career with some facilitation and instructional design experience (preferably Healthcare) who’d like to grow their skills with seasoned professionals. This is also a great opportunity for an internal candidate who has the attributes needed for the role and is interested in growing their skills in this career discipline.
Required Qualifications - Require three (3) years of experience in organizational development (OD) related activities, including OD interventions, management training and leadership development.
- Require experience in classroom delivery and facilitation in the corporate setting.
- Require experience in instructional design with demonstrated proficiency.
- Require bachelor’s degree in training and development, organizational development, instructional technology, adult education or related degree.
Preferred Qualifications - Prefer strong blend of polished training delivery skills, instructional design expertise and a solution oriented approach.
- Prefer health care experience.
- Prefer ability to design compact, interactive learning experiences for management staff.
- Prefer ability to be highly diplomatic in dealing with clients, even in stressful situations.
- Prefer ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and rapidly changing environment.
Preferred Education MD: Masters Degree
