IBM Corporation Senior IT Consultant

Location: Armonk, New York and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US

Responsibilities:

Set up network infrastructure capable of servicing any client.
Oversee the management of the Network Operations Team and line support for all network-related issues.
Identify and launch opportunities for continuous improvement to reduce operational risks, optimize efficiency, and improve standards.
Work with clients to understand their IT Infrastructure (Network, Servers, and System) needs and facilitate the setup at the data center.
Deliver product road maps and any associated remediation plans to address operational risks.
Coordinate between project team and client to deploy the agreed network solution.
Deploy infrastructure and applications with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR).
Support Application/Infrastructure security with Incident Response (IR) and Remediation.
Design and deploy network connectivity solutions and collaboration tools that help team members and application subject matter experts share their application interface and business knowledge.
Deliver all work assignments for transition and transformation services within budget.
Work with strategy and architecture to ensure infrastructure and associated management tools are supportable and maintainable.

Utilize: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Storage Area Network (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS), Azure, Cloud Platforms, and Virtualization.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and two (2) years of experience as an IT Consultant or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS), Storage Area Network (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS), Azure, Cloud Platforms, and Virtualization.

Salary: $129,477.96 to $153,200.00 per year.
