Urgent Care Medical Assistant - Certified

This position includes a sign-on bonus for eligible new hires joining Seattle Children's!
In an Urgent Care setting, perform individualized patient procedures, treatment, and tests. Perform associated clerical tasks including chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies, and answering telephones. Provide advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitoring of clinic flow.
The primary work location for this position is Seattle, but depending on business need, the incumbent may be required to work at any of the Seattle Children’s Urgent Care locations.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Required Credentials:
- Medical Assistant Certified by Washington State Department of Health (DOH) prior to start date
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
Preferred:
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program
- Medical Assistant or medical office experience
- Current Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care experience and/or Medical screening and immunization
- Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification
Compensation Range: $25.33 - $36.98 per hour
Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
