What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer inbound calls and assist customers with pharmacy-related services
- Conduct benefit investigations and verify coverage eligibility with insurance companies
- Complete prior authorizations with attention to detail and accuracy
- Assist patients with enrollment in copay assistance programs
- Maintain and improve quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or similar patient services
- Demonstrated time management, planning, and prioritization skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using a CRM and integrated telephony platform
- Bilingual (Spanish) highly desirable
- Previous data entry experience and ability to type 30 wpm or more
