Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our healthcare team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing mammography procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining high-quality images. Duties:
- Conduct mammography exams using digital and film technology, adhering to established protocols and quality control measures.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination process, addressing any concerns or needs.
- Operate CT, MRI, PET, and other medical imaging equipment as needed.
- Utilize diagnostic radiology knowledge to identify and address any potential issues or abnormalities.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic evaluations.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including patient education and support.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives to ensure high-quality images and patient care.
- Assist with mammography equipment maintenance and calibration as needed.
Requirements:
- Current certification in mammography ARRT(M) and 3 years of experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of physiology and diagnostic radiology principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.55 - $44.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
