We would like to invite you to become a part of our amazing team! Achieve Whole Recovery is an outpatient private practice with locations in Colorado Springs, Denver, and Westminster. We provide medication-assisted treatment, psychiatry, and therapy services to patients in Colorado.
Achieve Whole Recovery treats individuals that struggle with addiction and mental health by providing the best and most current evidenced-based treatment. We feel compelled to treat those in our community that are underserved and misunderstood, and we are passionate in our commitment to improve mental health and to combat the epidemic of addiction that has plagued our state for decades.
We have a walk-in clinic for those that struggle with addiction, and we recently opened a walk-in clinic for patients that have psychiatric needs. This lead position is focused on working with individuals in the psychiatry walk-in clinic as well as treating scheduled patients. Our lead NP also consults with the psychiatry team and ensures our psychiatric clinic is adequately staffed.

We are seeking an: IN PERSON full-time Lead Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Work shift: Monday through Friday shifts, from 8:30am-5:30pm.
Education and Qualifications:
- Licensed in the state of Colorado as a Nurse Practitioner
- Active DEA license
- Active or provisional RxN (prescriptive authority) in the state of Colorado
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- A desire and passion to learn and grow as a psychiatric practitioner, and to work with patients that struggle with both mental health
Job Duties and Team Dynamic:
- Provide in-person psychiatric medication management to psychiatry patients at Achieve Whole Recovery.
- Provide excellent, ethical, and compassionate patient-centered care.
- Document patient encounters in our EHR within 7 days.
- Order laboratory tests, interpret and explain results to patients.
- Provide patient education regarding medications, risks, benefits, and reasonable outcome expectations.
- Communicate with patients and engage in follow-up as necessary.
- Complete refill requests for patients.
- Serve as team lead. Provide consultation with your colleagues, ensure the clinic is adequately staffed.
- Facilitate growth and connectedness amongst your colleagues.
