Physician - Radiologist
POSITION SUMMARY:
The General Radiologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services, including the interpretation of X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, to support the diagnosis and management of a wide range of medical conditions. This role involves performing imaging studies, delivering accurate diagnostic reports, and collaborating with referring physicians to guide patient care. The General Radiologist will work within a multidisciplinary team, contribute to departmental quality improvement, and ensure adherence to best practices in radiology. This position requires a strong foundation in general radiology, excellent analytical skills, and effective communication with both medical staff and patients.
EDUCATION:
Degree in Medicine or Osteopathy
Board certification in Radiology
Fellowship in Musculoskeletal imaging or Body MRI a plus
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in New Jersey required
Maintains up-to-date credentials including CV, License, DEA, CDS, Board Certification, documentation of hospital admitting privileges.
Maintains CME credit hours as required for Board Certification and/or hospital staff privileges.
Ability to use AI and other technologies for advanced image analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of quality assurance practices and standards for imaging services.
Knowledge of legal and ethical issues related to the practice of radiology, including patient privacy laws and regulations.
EXPERIENCE:
Hands-on experience with advanced imaging techniques and procedures.
