Shift: M-F 8 am to 4:30 pm

Certification Requirements:
ARRT License

JOB DUTIES:
Competently performs routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills. Gains confidence and cooperation from patients through effective communication. Adheres to all regulations to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May also help orient other staff to the department.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
RADIOLOGY SERVICES:
- Performs a variety of diagnostic radiographic examinations.
- Operates complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment.
- Ensures that routine and priority tasks are completed within established time frames.
- Prepares for and assists physicians during invasive procedures.
- Explains and educates patients on procedures and associated effects.
- Mentors students and new technologists.
CLERICAL:
- Performs general clerical tasks, such as answering phones and updating patient appointments.
- Prepares and completes accurate documentation related to patients and procedures.
- Inventories and orders supplies periodically.
