Seeking BE/BC Pathologist to join private group near Myrtle Beach, SC. In this well established, mutually supported relationship the group has provided laboratory direction, participated in medical staff leadership, and practiced general pathology while experiencing a remarkable and challenging range of neoplastic and other disease processes. The area is experiencing tremendous growth that has impacted our practice and the need for a third full-service pathologist.
- In addition to general surgical pathology (including GI, GU, GYN, breast, head and neck, hematologic, pulmonary, general surgery/oncology), the group has an active cytology practice including ThinPrep Pap smears, fluids, and image guided FNAs (EBUS, EUS, radiology).
- Group provides ROSE for the FNAs with the support of an excellent cytotech.
- Support of a well-staffed and well-equipped histology laboratory and general laboratory.
- No autopsies or CNS pathology.
The goal is to have three pathologists to share weekly call duties (low activity) and other responsibilities in a three day rotation: grossing day, slide reading day, and clinical/catch up day.
