Job Title: Project Manager - Manufacturing Engineering Job Code: 15591 Job Location: Camden, AR Job Schedule: 4/10: Employees work 10 hours per day, 4 days a week Job Description: The Aerojet Rocketdyne segment of L3Harris is seeking a Project Manager to lead teams and drive initiatives within our Manufacturing Engineering department at our Camden, AR facility. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering results that have a direct impact on organizational goals and performance. This position is a high visibility role, reporting to the engineering director and will have significant opportunity to make a lasting and transformative impact to the business.
Essential Functions: - Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve departmental goals, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Drive initiatives from conception through completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Collaborate effectively with various internal departments, as well as external customers and stakeholders.
- Communicate cross-functionally to align project objectives with company strategy and to ensure transparency and engagement.
- Present project statuses and outcomes confidently in front of customers and executive leadership.
- Identify risks and issues early, developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancement and implementing best practices.
- Create Statements of Work (SOWs) and other technical writing documents to drive process changes and improvements.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Secruity Clearence.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's with 6 years prior experience in project management. Graduate Degree with 4 years prior experience in project management. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in project management.
- 2 years experience in project management within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Preferred Additional Skills: - PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in project management software and tools; as well as Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
