Essential Functions
Works in collaboration with the nurses and exercise physiologists in the CardioPulmonary Rehabilitation program to care for patients with recent cardiac or pulmonary events. Duties include: Assisting with the patient process flows, such as cardiac telemetry monitoring, vital signs, patient education, patient assessment, maintaining exercise prescriptions for the patient, setting exercise machines, etc Assists in cleaning/sanitizing/maintaining equipment. Attends in-services as required for position. Assists in maintaining logs as needed.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education Associate's Degree Nursing (ADN): Required and validated by the presence of a current state license Bachelor's Degree Nursing (BSN): Preferred
Required Skills Licenses: Registered Nurse, KY
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire
