Answer customer telephone inquiries in reference to the status of their claim
Process Debit MasterCard or ATM Pin, Signature or Unauthorized Claims
Gather information about individuals, merchants, and other entities from public and non-public sources, to effectively process a claim
Request surveillance and documents findings
Interview and obtain statements from customers, witnesses, and other individuals
Locate and obtain records related to the customers. Merchants or authorities
Write detailed and concise comments, suitable to justify our claim decision within the organization, courts, and local authorities
Interact with department and branch employees along with customers to share information to resolve claims issues
Follow current regulations, policies, and procedures during the claims resolution process
Train, assign, and review the work of other ATM Specialists
Follow-up with customers on a regular basis
Meet daily deadlines for expiring claims
Make decisions on routine issues in accordance with the ATM operating procedures
Other duties as assigned
Note-This position requires the process specialist to obtain information from individual customers that can be personal and intimate in nature. The position requires a high level of confidentiality and the ability to have candid conversations regarding customers personal account actions.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for extended periods of time
Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
