What You Will Do: Guidehouse is looking for a proposal coordinator to support commercial and public sector proposal deliverables in our Financial Services segment, typically prepared in MS Word and Power Point. The coordinator usually supports a Proposal Manager with proposal development activities, team communications, document control, and logistics to help manage the proposal development process. The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to work efficiently with multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of high-quality material with attention to detail.
- Supports a Proposal Manager on large, complex proposals with proposal development activities, team communications, and document control to control the proposal development process.
- Drafts proposal outlines based off solicitation documents
- Prepares and maintains proposal schedules and workspace.
- Schedules and coordinates logistics for meetings; which may include proposal kick-off meetings, stand-up meetings, editorial and quality/compliance reviews.
- Tracks action items and escalates issues in a timely manner.
- As assigned, follows up with proposal contributors to ensure that assignments are completed as specified and within deadline.
- Prepares or completes cross reference matrixes, forms, and outlines.
- Performs compliance checks while compiling proposal documents or volumes to confirm that material provided by contributors meet RFP requirements or company guidelines.
- Maintains proposal file structure and supports distribution of proposal files.
- Formats proposals in accordance with Guidehouse standard proposal templates in Word and PowerPoint and assist proposal team members in use of the proposal templates; collaborating with the desktop publishing team for more complex formatting.
- Coordinate graphics, desktop publishing, editing, and proofreading for all assigned proposals.
- Archives final proposals and re-usable proposal content following final submission.
- Proof work to minimize errors; reworks errors.
What You Will Need:- Requires Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of prior experience OR 6 years of professional experience in lieu of degree.
- (3) + years of experience working on proposals.
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word and SharePoint.
- Working skills in Adobe Acrobat Professional to create and edit PDF documents.
- Must be a US citizen due to the nature of many of our US government proposals.
- Demonstrated time-management skills.
- Proven ability to work independently.
What Would Be Nice To Have:- Advanced skill in Microsoft Word and SharePoint.
- Working skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and experience editing graphics in Illustrator and InDesign.
- Experience working with proposal automation software such as RFPio or Loopio.
The annual salary range for this position is $65,900.00-$98,900.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
