Machine Operator - Day ShiftAn industry leader in timber design, engineering and manufacturing, with a state-of-the-art production facility in Columbia Falls, Montana, is hiring Machine Operators. The Machine Operator will set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines. You'll be inspecting parts to specifications and adjusting, to maintain quality standards.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday - 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Essential Functions and Duties: - Set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment
- Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
- Reads and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery
- Oversee training of new or Junior Machine Operators
- Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
- Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems
- Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in the work area
Qualifications: - Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing facility required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
- Able to clearly communicate with coworkers and Team Leader
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Knowledge of production and plant processes
