Position Summary:
Performs all diagnostic-imaging procedures in the Diagnostic Imaging Department including: General radiography, mobile C-arm, portable x-ray exams, CT exams, Ortho Clinic, assistance in fluoroscopy, and special procedures in the Cath Lab. Responsible for learning under the direction of the department manager and department coordinator. Refers to and complies with the routine projections list in the procedure manual. Assists physicians/radiologists when required. Will be responsible for assessing, treating, or caring for patients of all age categories and demonstrate age-specific competency. Performs any other duties assigned. This position may be required to float to all Diagnostic Imaging locations.
Position Requirements:
Education: Graduate of AMA-approved School of Diagnostic Radiologic Technology resulting in certification from the State of California as a Radiologic Technologist. Evidence of continuing education in the Science of Radiologic Technology.
License/Certification: ARRT required, CT Certification preferred, CPR Certified required.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist with CT, special procedures and pediatric experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills. Effective verbal and written skills. CQI team experience. Basic proficiency with computer system.

Lift/Push/Pull: 25 lbs, over 25# with assistance or equipment.
