Job Summary
Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate Level Degree preferred. 1 year experience required for Resource Pool applicants. For Hampton Roads Outpatient facilities only - Must obtain Direct Access certification within one year of hire for those with a BS or MS degree.
Qualifications:
- BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Physical Therapy (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
- Direct Access Certification (Physical Therapy) - Certification - Other/National
- Physical Therapist License (PT) - State license - North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (NCPT)
- Physical Therapist License (PT) - State license - Physical Therapy Compact Commission (PTCOMPACT)
- Physical Therapist License (PT) - State license - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
