Job SummaryResponsible for the provision of comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a patient-focused manner that supports and promotes medication safety. Directly supervises technical staff. Assignments to be determined based on the specific training and skill set (i.e. unit-based/patient care; satellite services) of an individual employee. Orients and trains pharmacists, technicians, residents, interns, and students as assigned. Primarily day shift.
Required Qualifications- Require active Florida Pharmacy license. If no active Florida Pharmacy license, must be registered as a Pharmacy Intern in the State of Florida and have an active Florida Pharmacy license within three (3) months of hire.
- Require the ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance.
Preferred Qualifications- Prefer recent institutional practice experience as a pharmacy intern, student, or registered pharmacist or other comparable professional qualifications.
