- Lead for sewing of cut patterns - pre-production builds
- Training on machine troubleshooting: Changing bobbins, Fixing thread jams, Fixing tension issues, Needle changing, Thread changes
- Experience with automotive interior components
- Excellent oral and written communications
- Knowledge of typical automotive interior materials
- Good hand-eye coordination skills and ability to perform manual labor pulling and lifting over 25lbs
- Good sketching and drawing abilities
- Ability to read 2D and pattern designs
- Ability to work with hand tools: lathes, band saws, heat guns, staple guns
- Able to coach and mentor team associates
- Strong degree of self-motivation
- Able to travel to support launches
- Familiar with manufacturing equipment and processes
- Competent ability with computer software programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of sewing in upholstery or industrial setting
- 4 year high school degree
