We are looking to hire an Emergency Department Coordinator/RN for our hospital in Ontario, Oregon.
As an RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you provide hands-on patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely. You serve as a patient advocate by promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. You also educate patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans based on patient needs.
About this position: Three years of RN experience, with at least two years in an emergency department, is preferred. The Emergency Department Coordinator works with the Manager to coordinate across the ED, ICU, Trauma Services, and Emergency Preparedness.
General Requirements:
- Demonstrated team, analysis, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate computer skills including medical record keeping
- Ability to work with a wide variety of people under adverse conditions
Education:
- Licensed in the State of Oregon as a Registered Nurse is required
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
License/Certification:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Oregon
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS
