Band 2 Clinical Imaging Assistant FULL TIME – 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK
The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest Trusts in the country, providing acute services across the county of Lincolnshire. We are seeking a compassionate, empathetic, and motivated person to become a Clinical Imaging Assistant within the MRI department.
Duties will include:
- Assisting the Radiographers.
- Providing assistance to our patients in a caring and empathetic manner.
- Handling delicate technical equipment.
- Patient care and patient transfer.
- Patient cannulation.
- General administration duties, stock taking.
You will be working within the magnetic field, so safety is paramount, and full training will be given, including cannulation. Persons with a previous caring role within the NHS are preferred.
The MRI service will be open from 07:20 to 20:30 hrs daily, 7 days a week. A flexible approach to the working day is essential.
This is a Pan-Trust Role, and you will be required to work at both the Pilgrim Hospital site and the new Skegness Community Diagnostic Centre when it opens in November, so the ability to travel is essential.
