Job Description:
This key management position has oversight of the pre and post-surgical area. The Manager has primary oversight of the department's staff members and focuses on ensuring the unit is staffed appropriately but also supervises, coaches, and develops staff members. The manager works collaboratively to ensure a high level of patient outcomes, patient service, and safety metrics and measures are utilized to focus on excellent care. The nurse manager must also collaborate with various members of the leadership team to oversee financial management and move forward various strategic and process improvement aspects of the department and hospital.
Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Nurse actively licensed in the state of Kentucky.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- BCLS, ACLS will be required.
- A minimum of two years recent leadership experience is required.
