SAP Client Engagement Partner
Job Description
- The SAP Client Engagement Partner will drive SAP opportunities from qualification, solutioning, client presentations through negotiation and closure.
- At least 7-10 years of SAP solutioning and services selling; proven experience in shaping and solutioning a mix of SAP deals (S/4H, Cloud migration, AMS, Testing, LOB solutions (Ariba, IBP, SF) and BTP)
- Industry alignment in a mix of Energy & Utilities, Manufacturing, Automotive and Hi-Tech sectors
- In-depth experience in SAP’s product ecosystem and industry specific solutions.
- Proven track record in SAP OB/TCV quota carrying roles with similar sized system integrators.
- Hands on sales practitioner role to focus on key accounts and serve internal sector/market unit teams.
- Solid storyboarding, storytelling, PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Serve as single point of contact for opportunity qualification, building of end-to-end solution, pricing and consultative SAP selling initiatives.
- Experience managing industry sector and specific accounts preferred (Hi-Tech, Auto, EU)
- Generate and execute opportunities, interact with prospective customers through executive meetings, SAP discovery conversations, SAP solution demonstrations, executive presentations and follow-up discussions.
- Ability to hunt new and farm existing accounts for SAP opportunities.
- Experience engaging with senior leaders (CxO level) on various solutions and business problems. Able to listen and analyze a client’s requirements, create, and present a compelling SAP solution and business value message.
- In-depth understanding of SAP’s current and roadmap product capabilities, industry specific solutions (Digital manufacturing cloud, SAP ISU, Others)
- Ability to own and execute the end-to-end deal from qualification, solution, client presentations and negotiation.
- Exposure to SAP delivery, pre-sales or hands-on sales roles is preferred.
In order to be successful in this role, the ideal person will have:
- 10+ years SAP experience of which at least 3 years as a SAP Sales Practitioner.
- Understands the latest offerings from SAP – Rise, S/4, LOB solutions (Ariba, SFSF, IBP).
- Has hands-on experience in solutioning and presenting various SAP services – Transformation, AMS, Cloud Migration.
- Understanding of the SAP business in the Hi-Tech, Manufacturing &/or ENU industry and the nuances of the sector, especially around the cloud migration.
- Should be a good communicator and have experience of working with offshore presales and solution teams.
