As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with patients throughout their treatment, assisting with procedures, providing education, and supporting the multidisciplinary team to ensure each patient receives the highest level of care and attention on their path to becoming parents.
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Seattle Reproductive Medicine, located in Kirkland, WA. This is a full-time position, working Monday- Friday, 7:45 am- 4:15 pm with up to 2 holidays per year and on call weekend shifts 2-3 times per year.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and check-in patients, obtain medical history, and verify patient information.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform basic diagnostic procedures such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Assists in surgical procedures, not limited to Egg Retrieval, Dilation & Curettage and Embryo Transfers.
- Manage electronic medical records (EMR) and document patient information accurately.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, including follow-up appointments and referrals.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medication usage, and preventive care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by following infection control procedures.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of clinical supplies.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Other duties and project as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Medical Assistant Program and active WA state license
- Maintain updated BLS/CPR Certification
- Willingness to cover weekends, holidays, and work in various locations as needed.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$24.00-$32.00 per hour
The compensation range for this position is between $24.00- $32.00 per hour. Final compensation offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications.
