Oncology Sales Specialist - GYN
This pivotal role directly impacts the success and growth of the GYN Oncology sector within our innovative healthcare company. As an Oncology Sales Specialist - GYN, based either in Atlanta or Charlotte, you will focus on promoting groundbreaking diagnostic solutions in the GYN oncology field. The key responsibilities involve strategic territory management, relationship building, and leveraging product and market expertise to drive significant sales growth and achieve market leadership in allocated territories. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet and surpass sales targets while managing all aspects of territory performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including Gynecologic Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, and Pathologists.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of our products, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to effectively communicate and sell to healthcare providers.
- Drive sales growth through patient acquisition, user engagement, and strategic account development.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including clinical specialists, to coordinate care and enhance service delivery.
- Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to influence developments within the oncology sector.
- Identify business opportunities with academic and community cancer centers, establishing institutional collaborations.
- Design and execute comprehensive business plans that align with our national objectives and organizational values.
- Implement innovative sales strategies, marketing plans and capitalize on opportunities for revenue growth.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of proven sales success in Gynecologic Oncology, Medical Oncology, or related fields.
- In-depth understanding of the Oncology market, molecular diagnostics, and personalized medicine.
- Familiarity with payer and reimbursement dynamics within healthcare.
- Outstanding leadership capabilities, financial acumen, and strong communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with willingness to travel overnight as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a medical or related field.
- Experience working with EMR systems and structuring care pathways.
- Proven track record in developing significant client relationships and executing major contracts.
- Expertise in navigating complex sales cycles in the healthcare industry.
