JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Special Program Services, responsible for helping reduce or eliminate speech and language delays that interfere with the individual student’s ability to derive full benefit from the district’s educational program.
Salary:
- $80-$90/hr. based on your experience
- $3,000-$3,375 weekly DOE
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or similar program.
- Washington State Educational Staff Associate Certification (ESA) with appropriate endorsement.
- Completion of a PESB-approved ESA course OR three years out of state experience as an SLP in an educational setting, required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
Job Description:

- Contract through the 2024/2025 school year – 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
- Contract follows the academic district calendar.
- Full-time, in person.

- Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
- Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
- Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
- Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
- Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
