The Staff Specialty Operations Pharmacist processes and dispenses Specialty Rx medication. The Staff Specialty Operations Pharmacist work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
The Staff Specialty Operations Pharmacist applies clinical and operational expertise to ensure effective and compliant processing and dispensing of Specialty pharmacy prescription orders to be mailed to patients' homes and/or provider offices. Interacts directly with Providers and Patients to solve complex and/or escalated issues related to Specialty Rx medication including resolving issues related to drug interactions and dependencies. Develops and integrates programs developed to improve overall health outcomes with a focus on Specialty prescription drugs. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Qualifications
- Must have an active PHARMACIST license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state and physically reside in Arizona, Ohio or Florida
- Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
- Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving
- Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive
- Proficient with computers
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- PharmD
- 3 plus years' experience in a high-volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment
Additional Information
This is a remote position however all candidates must reside in the states of OH, FL or AZ.
Department hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11pm EST and Saturday 8am-6:30pm EST. Permanent schedule will consist of 1-2 closing shifts (2:30-11pm EST) per week and rotating Saturday coverage.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$102,200 - $140,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
