The Opportunity
This is a field-based position, supporting Abbott’s Vascular division. Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease.
Our field-based location in Fargo, ND currently has an opportunity for a Senior Coronary Clinical Specialist. This role will promote Abbott Vascular products through education of current and potential customers and procedure coverage within a defined territory by providing clinical education and sales support to assist in achieving projected sales goals.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Serve as primary resource for clinical support in surgical coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education for company products.
- Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products through presentations and demonstrations.
- Perform clinical and library research and participate in case reviews and clinical observation.
- Attend clinical procedures in the labs and operating rooms of hospital accounts.
- Meet with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs and discuss how Abbott Vascular products can help them.
- Develop relationships with hospital personnel to make new contacts and identify key decision makers.
- Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of related work experience.
- Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.
Preferred
- Patient interaction experience within a lab/operating room environment.
- Relevant Technical Certification.
