We are looking for Registered Nurses who have experience or an interest in Mental Health Nursing to help us on our mission to meet the needs of our community.
Peachford has been a leader in behavioral health and addictive disease treatment since 1973. Our 246 bed hospital treats nearly 10,000 children, adults and seniors every year who come seeking the best psychiatric care available. We are looking for candidates who are dedicated and committed to providing the highest level of compassionate care. Our hospital is located on a 38 acre wooded campus in the Dunwoody neighborhood of North Atlanta and over 500 incredibly talented employees call us home.
We are searching for RNs to work weekend shifts for a premium pay base rate. We have a variety of patient populations to choose from and sign-on bonuses are offered for full-time positions. Charge Nurse roles, which include a differential, are also available. There are two schedules to choose from: Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday - 12 hour shifts. Other shifts/positions are available.

QualificationsWe train you to be the best, but there are a few minimum requirements for this position:
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Experience
- Prefer one year of nursing experience
Certifications/Licensure
- State of Georgia or eCompact MultiState Nursing License
Other Helpful Skills
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Skills in case management.
- Skills in time management.
- Knowledge of acute psychological disorders, and advanced principles of abnormal psychology.
- Familiarity with follow-up resource services available to patients.
- Skills in maintaining information as highly confidential.
- Ability to treat all age populations as needed or have the capacity to develop skills through the organization's cross-training and orientation program.
- Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation.
