Exciting New Incentives:
Loan Repayment Assistance Program up to $20,000 Lifetime: The Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides financial support to our Mercy Imaging co-workers in a 24X7 hospital based eligible position who are in a .4 FTE and above, working 32 hours or more per pay period. The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime maximum.
Overview:
Independently, or under the direction of a Radiologist, performs MRI procedures and patient care requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative for obtaining a diagnosis. Has responsibility for routine MRI imaging and other procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology; with independent selection and modification of technical factors to produce optimum MRI scans, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort a top priority. Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
Experience: Has acquired experience and possesses capability as determined to be adequate for the position.
Licensure/Certifications: Obtained ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT registry or Advanced register eligible (Achieve advanced registry within 18 months of eligibility) BLS Basic Life Support
Other Skills & Knowledge:
* IV Insertion
* Technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge.
Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements:
* Manipulating equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting patients.
* Continual standing or walking.
* Adapt to stressful situations.
Preferred Education: Bachelor degree
Preferred Experience: at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Preferred Licensure: ARRT or ARMRIT - 1 Advanced registry (MRI)
