The Clinical Specialist is responsible for the clinical development and knowledge of the customers and sales team within their designated sales regions for all Össur Bracing & Supports products. Responsible to develop in-depth knowledge, expertise, and the ability to effectively demonstrate the full range of products and services offered by Össur. Must work with the sales team to coordinate and execute training events and customer education. This includes, but is not limited to, planning and conducting customer digital workshops for customers and presentations at regional levels. Clinical orthopedic knowledge, organizational, and presentation skills are critical for this position.
Responsibilities
- In alignment with Össur’s identity as a Trusted Partner, assist in providing best-in-class customer experience in relation to product education and onboarding.
- Produce high-level customized demonstrations and lectures on Össur’s full range of Bracing & Support products to key partners, utilizing Össur Media House facilities.
- Deliver field-based training in multiple settings including hospitals, O&P’s, & orthopedic clinics, when required.
- Report on all field activity, training courses, and customer contact in CRM.
- Assist in clinical and technical training for regional sales and marketing team.
- Maintain professional accreditation and standards.
- Maintain industry-leading professional and technical knowledge of Össur’s and other manufacturers' products.
- Act as clinical stakeholder for R&D activities, when required.
- Attend educational and professional workshops, review professional publications, and participate in professional societies.
- Maintain a healthy working relationship with their regional sales team.
- Contribute to the collective knowledge, skills, and experience of the clinical team.
- Identify and develop relationships with key regional customers to create partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) from a four-year college or university. Science degree preferred.
- ABC Certified Orthotic Fitter (CFo), Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), or Physical Therapist (PT).
- Minimum 2 years post-certification experience.
- Minimum travel requirement is 20%.
- Computer literacy: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Premiere Pro experience a plus.
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge and use of Össur products.
- Self-starter: ability to take initiative and to seek guidance when appropriate.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Possesses good organization and time management skills.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $69,340 - $85,672 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
