Job Description - First Assist Certified PRN (24034987)

Schedule: PRN

Shift: Varies

The role you’ll contribute:

Under the direct supervision, assists the operating surgeon in care of patients in surgery and performs assigned selected duties.

Perform duties of Surgery Assistant to include assistance of the following tasks:
Placement and suturing of surgical drains
Patient positioning
Assist with turnover of cases as needed to facilitate the procedure and decrease wait time for the patient

What you will need:

Be certified as a Surgical Assistant from an accredited program recognized by the National Surgical Assistant Association.
