Responsible for planning, developing, and conducting educational programs within area of expertise. Plans, directs, coordinates orientation programs, in-services and continuing education programs based on established needs.
Licensure/Certification/Education (Required):
- Current/Active Florida Registered Nurse License (RN) OR Approved Multi-State License
- Bachelor's Degree
- American Red Cross OR American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR (BLS)
Licensure/Certification/Education (Preferred):
- Master's Degree
- American Red Cross OR American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Specialized Skills (Required):
- Effective communication and time management skills
- Professional manner and appearance
- Working knowledge of adult learning theories with the ability to apply them to specific learning needs.
Specialized Skills (Preferred):
- AHA Instructor for BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Previous teaching and curriculum development experience.
