Clinical Science Specialist- Radiology
We are excited to announce the opportunity for a dedicated Clinical Science Specialist to join our prominent Radiology Practice based in the vibrant metro Denver area. This crucial role serves as the vital link between our Physicians, Practice Leadership, and Technologists, facilitating seamless communication and synchronization across clinical and technical domains. The ideal candidate will advocate for the highest standards of patient care through meticulous management of CT and MRI procedural protocols, thorough quality audits, and continual professional development of the technology team.
Compensation: $105,000 to $120,000 annually, dependent on experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish, write, implement, test, monitor, and adjust CT and MRI procedural protocols to ensure optimal performance and compliance with latest industry standards.
- Conduct quarterly image quality review (IQR) audits of CT and MRI studies to maintain stringent quality controls. Provide feedback and guidance to technologists and report findings to practice leadership and the medical director.
- Advise on and manage accreditation processes and regulatory compliance, ensuring all practice activities meet or exceed required standards.
- Design and deliver ongoing educational programs and mentoring for CT and MRI technologists, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
- Evaluate the performance and development of technologists regularly to ensure continuous professional growth and improvement.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology, medical radiography, or a closely related field.
- Active certifications in ARRT-MRI and ARRT-CT.
- At least ten (10) years of professional experience as a CT and MRI Technologist.
- Five (5) years of proven experience in a clinical science or similar role, preferably within a busy radiology practice.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and adjusting imaging protocols, performing quality audits, and training technologists.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certifications or specialized training in radiologic technology or a related field.
- Strong background in healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and ACR accreditation processes.
- Experience with cross-sectional imaging equipment from various manufacturers.
- Leadership or mentorship experience within a clinical setting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex technical challenges.

- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities concurrently.
- Advanced technical skills, with comprehensive knowledge of CT and MRI technology and software.
