Nuclear Medicine Technologist/PET/CT Technologist

Compensation: $72,800.00 - $110,240.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs all diagnostic tasks with hybrid imaging in PET/CT and SPECT/CT environments.
- Calculates, orders, administers, and meticulously records the use of radioactive isotopes.
- Provides detailed patient instructions for proper examination preparations to ensure optimal results.
- Verifies physician orders for procedures, ensuring precise patient identification and compliance with medical directives.
- Performs all required quality control procedures to maintain equipment functionality and patient safety.
- Adheres to and maintains all compliance standards for continuing education and professional development.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Certified as a CNMT or ARRT(N) with a current CPR certification.
- Must hold a valid NYS DOH (Nuclear Medicine) License.
- Demonstrated knowledge and competence in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possession of NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) certifications is highly preferred.
- Experience in PET imaging is advantageous but not necessary, as training will be provided.
