Requirements
- State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Professional or Student Physical Therapist Assistant experience
Qualifications
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT)
- Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Responsibilities
- Screening patients
- Documenting progress toward identified objectives
- Administering physical therapy services as directed by a registered physical therapist
- Conducting patient and family education
- Delivering quality physical therapy services
- Putting patient service first
- Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
