- Participates and ensures all areas of responsibility are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Promptly resolves identified quality issues.
- Completes performance evaluations for all assigned staff.
- Recommends department procedures and policy additions and changes.
Professional Development:
- Maintains and enhances professional expertise through appropriate continuing education.
- Identifies training needs of staff and initiates, participates in training of new technicians and staff, balances assignments of staff to maintain proficiency in all areas.
- Maintains Emergency Tech skills.
Education:
- Accountable for ensuring that all staff participate in departmental training.
- Collaborates in planning for orientation of new staff and ongoing staff development.
- Able to act as a resource in all assignments.

- Demonstrates commitment to teamwork by contributing to the team to meet department needs, offering assistance to others, carrying fair share of the workload, and coordinating patient care with other members of the team.

Skills and Certifications:
Requires knowledge of the Emergency Department operations.
Intermediate level Computer Skills required.
3 years of experience with Emergency Tech.
