Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Audiology. Certification or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, and Licensure or eligible for Audiology License from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
Job Summary:
To provide comprehensive audiological diagnosis and evaluation, and to initiate and conduct habilitative and rehabilitative treatment.
Job Duties:
- Administers and interprets routine and advanced diagnostic tests.
- Plans and participates in (re)habilitative progress related to hearing loss, central auditory processing and vestibular disorders.
- Documents findings, (re)habilitative techniques, plan of care and patient progress.
- Participates in interdisciplinary teaching and research projects.
- Serves as a preceptor to audiology doctoral students.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with adult and pediatric patients.
- Experience in electrophysiological and central auditory processing testing.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Salary Range:
Actual salary commensurate with experience.
