Position Summary: Bold Orange (BOCO) is seeking a Senior Analyst with a passion for analytics and insights. Our growing Analytics & Insights team drives marketing and business performance for our clients, develops strategic insights around customer behavior, and improves customer experiences through data intelligence. The ideal candidate loves distilling complex data and translating findings into compelling stories. They are an avid learner, constantly curious, collaborative, and bring high energy to deliver a mix of database analysis, dashboarding, media measurement, web analytics, and enterprise-scale business intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and optimize performance through the lens of applied data science tools and methodologies by immersing in client’s business and data.
- Create and manage robust reporting, dashboards, and insights.
- Own and deliver ad hoc research, discovery, and analysis with exceptional attention to detail and strategic thinking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine thoughtful points of view and actionable recommendations.
- Translate complex analysis into compelling client-facing presentation content.
- Comfortable presenting data analysis, insights, and storylines to internal and external stakeholders.
- Accountable to multiple client projects, established timelines, and proactive communication of work-in-flight progress with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a quantitative focus including mathematics, computer science, business analytics, data science, or other related discipline.
- 5+ years’ domain experience within marketing, digital or business analytics, data sciences, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience navigating complex, relational databases and working with SQL to perform analysis.
- 3+ years’ hands-on experience utilizing stats/general programming languages (e.g., R, Python) to perform data harmonization, modeling, and analysis.
- Demonstrated proficiency with dashboard development in one or more data visualization platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Looker Studio, Marketing Cloud Intelligence).
- Ability to author and own documentation for analytics processes, QA and/or functional requirements.
- Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Innately curious and happy to dig in whenever called upon.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior consulting/agency experience.
- Prior experience working in Redshift, Azure, or Snowflake SQL platforms.
- Demonstrated experience with advanced analytics and modeling.
- Relevant certifications or accreditation from Salesforce, Tableau, Microsoft, Google.
- Masters in Business Analytics or related.
