Job Description
The SFMC Developer/Analyst will join our MRM team and partner with our SFMC clients by creating campaigns, generating data-driven strategies, communicating strategic recommendations, and finding and activating insights. The ideal candidate not only has email marketing, technical developer, and program development experience but also has great data sensitivity and a strategic mindset.
Role:
We are looking for a SFMC Developer/Analyst who will play a key role in executing complex journeys leveraging dynamic content and personalization driven by both SFMC and external data sources. As a SFMC expert, you will use subject matter expertise to act as a trusted advisor using strategic and technical knowledge, industry and consulting experience, and knowledge of the client’s business to deliver the optimal solutions for the client.
- Develop and deploy marketing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including multichannel journeys and lifecycle email marketing, ensuring they are optimized for maximum engagement and conversion.
- Utilize custom AMPscript and SSJS logic blocks to create tailored solutions for email templates, landing pages, and other marketing assets.
- Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other platforms and databases to streamline data flows and enhance campaign efficiency.
- Develop and manage automated workflows and processes using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and other Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools.
- Monitor campaign performance, generate reports, and provide insights to optimize future campaigns.
- Oversee data management tasks, including data imports, segmentation, and ensuring data integrity within the Marketing Cloud.
- Analyze customer information based on data capture models to carry out engagement and qualification strategies.
- Identify key segments, differentiating the most valuable, to build and optimize contacts and meet growth objectives.
- Provide strategy recommendations for new actions that promote engagement and contribute to customer lifetime value.
- Provide actionable recommendations, including A/B and multivariate testing, for the client based on analysis and data.
- Work with other areas such as BI, Digital, and IT.
Requirements
- SFMC Developer or SFMC Consultant certified.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in CRM, Digital Strategy, Analytics, Personalization.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical role with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Relevant experience in deploying campaigns on SFMC: Einstein, STO, Path Optimizer, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Marketing Cloud Intelligence.
- Knowledge of E-mail and Journey Marketing, Analytics, Testing and experimentation, content, and strategic recommendations at platform level.
- Experience in methodologies, SFMC best practices, and business requirements.
- Knowledge of relationship marketing, inbound & outbound, digital marketing, and automation.
- Knowledge of Marketing Automation, at a strategic level, with SFMC.
- Knowledge of data visualization platforms and tools, which allow identifying insights and presenting the results in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an open and collaborative communication style.
- Analytical/problem-solving skills.
