White Pine Innovations is looking to hire an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support our government client with the Department of Transportation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Build relationships and support the executive-level client in tasks requiring program planning and project management and policy development
- Execution of assigned special projects, such as facilitate and make updates for the annual fiscal guidance
- Perform financial analytics and modeling to translate accounting, budget, and manpower reports, into visual reports to aid leadership in making data-driven decisions.
- Apply analytical skills in the development and implementation of functional area process improvements, studies, policies, and procedures
- Track and enable publication of written policy, instruction, and guidance related to the planning and budgeting cycle, execution of processes and procedures for Budget Formulation and Execution, Funds Flow, Execution Analysis and Reporting, Financial Reporting and Compliance, Audit Readiness and Reporting, and Financial System Support.
- Provide coordinating support to leadership in development of organization structure, establishment of positions, and movement of resources to support structure
Basic Qualifications:
- Due to the nature of the contract, a US. citizenship is required
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and management
- Experience with Working Capital Fund management
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge or experience with Department of Transportation Transit Benefit Program and policy
