Job Description
This position will be responsible for performing electrical tests for PWS products and have the ability to work and communicate within a team environment.
A functional tester's primary job tasks include but are not limited to performing high voltage and final tests for all products, parts ordering, troubleshooting, setting up and completing extended end of line tests, assembling products as needed, and complying with all Miller/PWS safety procedures. The employee will be required to rotate between primary job tasks or assist with job tasks as needed. Must have an understanding of ITW operating principles and apply them to the manufacturing area. This person will also be responsible for training others.
Qualifications:
- Must have completed the FVTC Functional Tester Course.
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Must be able to operate electrical test equipment.
- The individual must be a self-starter, a team player, and be quality conscious with concern for the customer's needs and on-time delivery.
- Cross training in all areas of manufacturing is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lift, push, or pull 10-25 lbs and occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull 25-45 lbs.
- Frequently required to use both hands to assemble, wire, carry bins, tools, and components.
- Constant standing and hand manipulation.
- Occasionally reaching, walking, and neck flexion.
- Be able to stand for up to 10 hours per day.
