Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Atlanta, GA
Contract Duration: November 11, 2024 - February 8, 2025
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Atlanta, GA, for a 13-week contract assignment, where you will play a critical role in patient care through the safe and effective application of radioactive substances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures using state-of-the-art technology.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with quality control standards.
- Stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine by participating in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or registry eligible for certification through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Availability to work within the holiday season, including:
- 2 major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
- 1 minor holiday out of the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve.
- This position is not open to local candidates within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, GA.
