POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the health management and nutritional needs of the persons receiving services.
- Provides/Procures health education programs for participants and staff including but not limited to: infection control, physical health, nutrition, and disease process.
- Supports persons receiving services in the community or in the facility including but not limited to; transportation, feeding, use of bathroom transfers, assistance with ambulation, and monitoring and/or administering medications and all areas of adult daily living skills.
- Develops/Maintains positive customer relationships with participants, care providers, funders, and the public.
- Participates with Easterseals’, DDD, and/or other regulatory inspections or investigations.
- Provides high-quality services based on service plans and the participant’s interests and abilities.
- Conducts medication administration and monitoring to participants and may schedule and participate in participants’ medical appointments as needed.
- Provide safe, clean environments of care that meets the standard of safety and cleanliness.
- Completes/Maintains nursing documentation, assessments, and plans of care.
- Ensures the proper care and maintenance of vehicles, the facility, equipment, and supplies.
- Adheres to all Easterseals’ policies and procedures and funding regulations.
- Support sponsored fundraising efforts and social enterprise endeavors.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION/License:
Graduate of an approved nursing program with a current New Jersey License Practical License.
