Practice:
For more than 25 years, Heartland Animal Hospital has been providing quality veterinary care in Owatonna and surrounding communities. Heartland provides comprehensive preventative, medical, and surgical services for dogs, cats, and horses.
Position Purpose:
Our team is growing! We are very excited to add another veterinarian to our team in response to our practice's years of client growth.
Our team currently consists of three full-time doctors who have interests in small animal wellness and emergency care, equine medicine, diagnostic medicine and ultrasound, and more. Together they have multiple decades of experience. Not to mention they are supported by seven, equally experienced CVTs!
We welcome DVMs of all experience levels - we think doctors of all backgrounds would truly flourish at our well-established practice. We see a vast caseload of both small, large, and equine species and have a compassionate and dedicated staff that will provide you endless support.
We look forward to meeting you!
About the area:
Owatonna has a lot of local parks and great outdoor activities. There are plenty of fun locally owned businesses like breweries and ice cream shops in town! If you enjoy diversifying your commute, there are well-kept bike trails through town that a few of our staff members ride to work. There are great yearly events like our holiday parade, free concerts in the park every Thursday in the summer months, farmers market, Owatonna blades junior hockey games, and more. The new high school was built in 2024 with a new football field and the school works with our junior college to provide tech classes!
